As a digital mobile operator and UCaaS platform, we own our stack end-to-end.
This is a rare opportunity to work on our new product line, AI Voice.
A service deeply integrated into a live, production-grade communications platform already used by thousands of businesses across Europe.

In this role, you'll be the go-to person for larger AI voice opportunities, designing, building, and tuning our voice AI solutions for the customer.

You'll work at the intersection of real-time audio, large language models, and telephony infrastructure, helping shape how Telavox's AI capabilities evolve.
The function is part of our Digital Mobile Operator department and part of our Enterprise team, focusing on the larger customer segment.

If you get excited about low-latency audio pipelines, voice quality, and what happens when LLMs meet real phone calls, this is your seat.

You'll work hands-on with our AI voice platform by building integrations, tuning pipelines, and contributing to architecture decisions.
You'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to ship voice AI features that actually work in production.

A typical day in this role involves:

• Building and maintaining voice AI pipelines using real-time transport layers (e.g.
  LiveKit, WebRTC) and TTS/STT providers

• Developing and refining our provider-agnostic adapter layer to enable flexibility across voice vendors

• Evaluating and integrating AI voice providers (TTS, ASR, LLM orchestration) based on quality, latency, and cost

• Tuning voice quality, latency, and naturalness across different use cases and product tiers

• Contributing to our feature-flagging and tier-based voice configuration architecture

• Collaborating with backend engineers on orchestration design and API contracts

• Staying close to the fast-moving voice AI landscape and bringing in relevant developments

You're a builder who works comfortably at the edge of audio engineering and AI.
You care deeply about quality and have strong opinions about what good voice AI sounds and feels like.

We're looking for someone with:

• Hands-on experience building voice AI systems — TTS, ASR, voice agents, or conversational AI

• Familiarity with real-time audio protocols and tools (WebRTC, LiveKit, SIP, or similar)

• Experience integrating with AI/voice APIs (e.g.
  ElevenLabs, OpenAI, Deepgram, Azure Speech, or equivalent)

• Strong programming skills — Python and/or TypeScript preferred

• An understanding of latency, audio quality, and the tradeoffs in production voice systems

• Comfort working in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment where you'll need to define things as you go

Experience in telephony, UCaaS, or contact center technology is highly merited.
