About the job

You own the direction of Seco’s infrastructure landscape - setting the roadmap and standards that make our platforms more secure, resilient, and scalable.
You combine long term modernization with reliable delivery, with operational accountability for Seco HQ (Fagersta) and global governance through policies, lifecycle management, and performance follow up.

Scope includes network & connectivity, endpoints, and cloud foundation services (final scope to be confirmed).
In close collaboration with Sandvik Group IT and Sandvik Machining IT, together with Seco Tools’ Enterprise IT, Cybersecurity, OT, and Local IT, you ensure global standards and reliable operations.

Job responsibilities:

• Own the roadmap, standards, and lifecycle for Seco’s global infrastructure platforms (network/connectivity, endpoints, and cloud foundation services)
• Hold operational accountability for infrastructure delivery at Seco HQ (Fagersta), including service performance, incident/problem follow-up, and partner coordination
• Lead secure and scalable delivery of network, connectivity, and cloud infrastructure through internal teams and strategic partners
• Govern infrastructure security controls (including IT network segmentation and hardening standards) to support compliance, audit readiness, and risk reduction—in close alignment with Cybersecurity and OT
• Translate business needs into clear roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable improvements—and provide structured team leadership (scope and team size to be confirmed)

Location and flexibility

This position is based in Fagersta, Sweden.
Hybrid working can be discussed based on business needs, allowing you to combine office and remote work.
Travel to other Seco sites may be required (expected frequency to be confirmed).

Your profile

You have a solid background in leading infrastructure platforms and services and enjoy balancing strategic responsibility with reliable delivery.
You bring a few years of people leadership experience (or equivalent proven team leadership) and demonstrate clear leadership in everyday practice.
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., IT, engineering, computer science) or equivalent proven experience supports your foundation.

We see that your background includes:

• Experience planning and leading cross-site operational activities (e.g., rollouts, transitions, governance) in a global, multi-site environment
• Proven track record delivering infrastructure services and projects with clear scope, timelines, and stakeholder alignment
• Ability to coach and develop others through structured ways of working (e.g., clear goals, regular 1:1s, feedback, and development plans)
• Solid experience in infrastructure domains (network/connectivity, endpoints, and cloud foundation services) and strong stakeholder management across IT and business
• Experience with IT service management practices (ITIL4 preferred, or equivalent)
• Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)

You take clear ownership and translate strategic direction into reliable day‑to‑day delivery.
Working comfortably across teams and cultures, you communicate clearly and bring structure to both people and platforms.
