Hvitfeldtska Gymnasiet in Gothenburg is one of the first IB-Diploma schools in Sweden and has been offering the programme to students from all over the world since 1989.
Today our IB-programme has more than 200 students and is a vibrant and engaging community within a school of 1900 students and 200 staff.
The school is situated in central Gothenburg with proximity to the University of Gothenburg.
The City Library, Concert Hall, City Theatre and Art Museum are all within a five-minute walk.

Arbetsuppgifter

The IB programe at Hvitfeldtska is hiring a teacher of Economics for the school year 2026-2027 and 2027-2028, a 2 year contract.
The position is full time.

Mentorship of students and supervision of Extended Essays in Economics will also be included in the position.

Kvalifikationer

• Experienced in teaching the IB Diploma Programme subject of Economics
• Have attended an IB Economics workshop
• University degree in the relevant subject area
• Teaching licence, preferrably for Sweden but international qualifications are also acceptable
• English proficiency at a native-speaking level
• Long teaching experience
• Experienced in using ICT as a tool for teaching and learning
