You will help bring automotive design ideas into physical form by creating high-quality clay models for exterior and interior studies.
In this role, you work in a studio environment where design intent needs to be translated into precise three-dimensional surfaces that support design reviews, program development, and key milestone evaluations.

You will work across digital-to-physical workflows, using digital surface data and contributing to 3D scanning, armature development, CNC milling, and high-quality finishing.
The role also involves close collaboration with designers, digital modelers, and studio engineers to ensure each model reflects the intended proportions, surface quality, and feasibility throughout development.

You may also take ownership of individual clay model activities or defined phases within a program, helping structure the work and move it forward with the right quality and precision.

• You create high-quality clay models for exterior and interior design studies.
• You translate design intent into precise three-dimensional form for reviews and development milestones.
• You work with digital-to-physical workflows, including digital surface data, 3D scanning support, armature development, CNC milling, and finishing.
• You contribute to prototype and model development with awareness of basic integration needs for mechanical or electrical components when relevant.
• You collaborate closely with design, CAS, and engineering teams to align model quality with program needs.
• You help organize and drive clay model activities or defined phases within a program.
• You ensure the delivered models meet the expected level of craftsmanship, surface quality, and detail.

• Solid professional experience in automotive clay modelling within OEM or professional design studio environments.
• Strong capability in exterior and interior clay modelling for concept development and production design studies.
• Good understanding of digital-to-physical workflows, including digital surface data, 3D scanning activities, and CNC milling processes.
• Experience contributing to prototype and model development.
• Awareness of basic integration requirements for mechanical or electrical components where relevant.
• Good understanding of automotive design development processes.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with design, CAS, and engineering teams.
• High level of craftsmanship, surface awareness, and attention to detail.
• Fluent English.
