And we need people like you to make it happen.

We empower you to reach your potential with opportunities to make an impact to be proud of – for food, people and the planet.

Job Description: Job Summary

We’re looking for an Operational Purchasing Specialist to join our Replenishment team within Services Supply Network.

The purpose of this role is to follow up and secure on-time deliveries from suppliers, reduce deviations in confirmations and deliveries, and keep the operational flow clean enough that we spend less time chasing and more time improving.

This is a permanent role based in Lund, Sweden.
Tetra Pak has a hybrid setup with 3 days per week in the office.

What you will do

This is an operational role: you’ll manage deviations, drive supplier actions to closure, and keep a large supplier scope moving.
You will be the person who makes sure the supplier side of the engine runs the way it’s supposed to.
Main working tools will be SAP ECC and Excel, there is an advantage if you also know Power BI or Power Automate.

You’ll be managing a portfolio that, on average, means 3000+ order lines across 100+ suppliers, and it’s a global supplier scope.
It’s a lot of moving parts, which is why structure and follow-through is important for this position.

Main responsibilities:

  • Order confirmation control: reducing missing confirmations and minimizing deviations.
  • Delivery deviation management: reducing “delayed according to confirmed” cases, expediting where needed, and making practical decisions like split shipments when that’s the best route to protect availability.
  • Blocked and overdue invoices: handling supplier-related invoice blocks and overdue cases in your scope, working closely with Finance so we don’t create avoidable friction in the flow.
  • Operational improvement requests: following up improvement requests coming from the markets and then aligning with suppliers and driving real changes in process or setup, so the same issue doesn’t repeat next month.
  • Supplier follow-up cadence: daily reviews of open operational tasks, and structured weekly follow-ups with suppliers to close deviations
  • Continuous improvement and automation: spotting patterns, highlighting where the setup creates recurring issues, and pushing improvements forward

We believe you have

For this position, we believe you have a few years’ experience, and you are comfortable in an operational coordination environment with the desire to grow into broader supply chain ownership.

You likely bring:

  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, operational supply chain, logistics coordination, or similar
  • Experience working with SAP ECC, Excel, Power BI or Power Automate is an advantage.
  • A structured way of working, and the ability to manage many parallel tasks without losing control of the details
  • The confidence to communicate with suppliers and drive actions to closure
  • A mindset for continuous improvement.
  • Fluent English

We Offer You

  • A variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscape
  • A culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible results
  • An equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusion
  • Market competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangements
