    Nanoparticles.

Your profile

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of photophysical and -chemical processes in materials, and a strong background in operating photophysical characterization instrumentation (instrument control software, data collection and evaluation).
Experience with characterization of optical properties through advanced photoluminescence spectroscopy is mandatory.
Experience with other analytical techniques such as thermal analysis (DTA, TGA, DSC) and surface characterization methods such as XPS, ellipsometry as well as preparation of luminescent materials or devices such as light emitting sources (OLEDS, LEDs) or (organic) solar cells are a strong advantage.

The candidate should hold a PhD in chemistry, materials science & engineering or an equivalent domain.

As a person you are independent, reliable and possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
