Fru Haugans Hotel, the oldest hotel in Northern Norway needs a new sous chef, full time position.
Our team consists of between 9 chefs from around Europe (Norway, Spain, Poland, Bulgaria and more).

If you have minimum 6 years experience as a chef, passion for food, you have positive attitude, are a hard worker, this is the job for you!

• 6 years of experience as a chef
• Experience with a la carte and banquet (20-500 guests)

We prefer (but not a requirement)

• Diploma as a chef
• Norwegian language orally and in writing
• Responsible for apprentice (requires Norwegian language)

The hotel is located in the Northern parts of Norway in the region called Helgeland.

Helgeland is a coastal and mountainous paradise.
Spend your time off working between 2,000 meters high mountains and a coast with one of the world's most beautiful archipelagos, with a unique coastal culture that got Helgeland on the UNESCO's World Heritage List.

The hotel has been offering travellers a good night's sleep since 1794.
Ever since 1885, when Ellen Haugan purchased and revitalised the establishment, the hotel and its restaurants have been owned and operated by the same family to 2023.
The coastal town of Mosjøen is at the heart of scenic Helgeland.
