Are you a seasoned Product Owner with deep, hands-on experience in the off-highway heavy machinery sector? We are seeking a individual who possesses the blend of technical, commercial, and regulatory knowledge required to drive our next generation of construction and industrial machines from concept to launch.

The successful candidate must demonstrate direct, verifiable experience in the heavy machinery industry and a proven track record of successfully launching complex new products.

The Non-Negotiable Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you possess demonstrable, extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas:

Direct Industry Experience: Proven, hands-on experience working within the heavy machinery/off-highway sector (e.g., OEM, Tier 1 Supplier focused specifically on machine development).

Technical R&D Project Leadership: Extensive expertise in Technical Project Management within an R&D environment, managing complex development cycles for heavy equipment.

Segment Application Mastery: A profound understanding of customer applications, needs, and operational requirements within key segments such as:

Mining (Surface/Open Pit & underground)

Quarry Operations

Construction

Forestry

Etc.

Complete Machine Creation Knowledge: Specific, detailed knowledge of the end-to-end process of designing and building a heavy construction machine (e.g., Wheel Loader, Excavator) for the segments listed above.

EE System Expertise: Strong technical competence and working knowledge of Electrical and Electronic (EE) Systems as they apply to heavy mobile machinery.

Programming Fundamentals: A working knowledge of programming concepts and application related to machine control, diagnostics, or embedded systems.

Requirements Management: Proven excellence in requirements management from initial customer need through to technical specification and validation.
