Scania seeks a skilled Pricing and Assortment Product Manager

TRATON GROUP is undergoing a transformation to become a truly global champion with an increased focus on the Chinese market.
With a new aggressive strategy, our modular system and with the speed of a start-up company TRATON GROUP aims to be the new market leader in China.
The go to market strategy is a premium product and a B+ product, developed in China for China.
Both products will be produced in Scania´s production plant.

We are seeking a new team member to join our evolving dynamic team to support TRATON GROUP capture the unique service market in China.

Your Role: As Product Manager Pricing and Assortment for our new initiative in China you will secure our competitiveness and by that our profit.
You will work within our core team focusing on the Chinese market, especially together with the Commercial Product Manager.
Your primary responsibility centers around these specific areas within the service market.

You will (among other things):

  • Competitive Pricing: Ensure all spare parts have competitive retail prices, in line with our business strategies.
  • Assortment Management: Manage the spare part assortment effectively, ensuring it meets customer needs and oversee decisions ensuring an active assortment.
  • Service Market Requirements: Maximize the customer value and our profit.
  • Process Development: Utilize and adopt current processes and IT tools for the new needs.
  • Business Development: Run improvement projects and coordinate with all stakeholders.
  • You Bring:

    • A degree in Business, Engineering or related.
    • Experience in sales, product management, or engineering.
    • Experience gained from working in a workshop, at a dealership or within a Business Unit is highly valued and beneficial for this role.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of product development.
    • Knowledge of our development and commercial processes.
    • A wide Scania network.
    • Fluent in English.
      Chinese is a merit.

    Your Location

    The Parts and Service team is based in Södertälje.
    However, flexible work location may be applied to reflect competence need and deliveries.
    Business trips abroad and to China must be considered.
