Boeing/Jeppesen Hosting Solutions Deployment’s team is currently looking for a System Administrator to join their team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The position will focus on supporting the Boeing Global Services (BGS) business organization.
The team is providing Platform as a Service (PaaS) for airlines that are using Boeing/Jeppesen Flight Operations (Crew & Network) optimization products.

We are looking for someone that can help support deploying Hosted Environments to all of our existing customers and future new customers globally.
A successful candidate has broad and general knowledge about both local IT infrastructure and Cloud hosting environments.
This position will be responsible for deploying Hosted Environments and for maintenance and support until Go-Live.

About the position

This position is open for participants in the 10 month Earn Your Wings program within the Hosting Solutions Deployment department.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provision, deploy and configure Hosted Environments
  • Write new and update existing documentation of deployed Hosted Environments
  • Provide input and communicate on deployment plan to stakeholders
  • Initiate and participate in the handover process to the Operations team
  • Provide advanced technical support of deployed Hosted Environments prior to handover to Operations team
  • Troubleshoot and problem solving of deployed Hosted Environments
  • Engage in close collaboration with customers (both external and internal)
  • Act as SME for selected areas of technology / business
  • Onboard and mentor new team members

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 year work experience in Networking/Infrastructure/Sysadmin
  • Knowledge of Jeppesen Crew Products & Infrastructure requirements and procedures
  • Completed the EYW 4.0 trainee program within Boeing
  • Ability to speak and write English fluently
  • Red Hat Linux

Preferred Qualifications (Beneficial Skills/Experience):

  • VMware

  • Experience with Active Directory, IdP, SAML/OAuth, LDAP, IPA and similar technologies
  • Network design, administration and troubleshooting, Routers/Firewalls/NAT/DNS
  • Ansible
