GROUP TOTAL REWARD EXPERT

The Total Reward Expert is a key position in the Total Reward and Global Mobility Department, which contributes to the further development of competitive and effective global compensation, benefits, and recognition practices and Group policies in cooperation with the colleagues of the team as well as the People Experience organization and the business.
Together with the rest of the team you work to ensure that the programs offered to our employees are market-competitive and aligned with both internal and external stakeholder interests.
As an expert you are responsible for supporting colleagues in the other People experience functions, managers, and employees in the area of Rewarding, always backing your opinions with data, and ensuring that our processes and practices comply with local law, regulation, and union agreements.

We are a strategic expert function supporting and guiding the total reward community to offer fair, sustainable, and competitive rewards to support the needs of the SKF Business and in our shareholder’s best interest.​

Key responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and review policies and guidelines following trends and changes in the market and the legislation to make recommendations that are fit for the organization
  • Develop and drive the main rewarding processes, the yearly salary setting process for employees globally, and the yearly variable pay programs, coordinating their execution throughout the organization
  • Coordinate, give guidance, and approve the setting of the general compensation budget, monitoring its respect in order not to exceed it
  • Organize regular training sessions for the colleagues working either in the Total Reward Community or in other People Experience functions and constantly work on increasing the awareness of the rewarding agenda in the organization
  • Conduct or participate in internal and external benchmarking (market survey, inter-group benchmarking activities, etc..) to monitor the company’s compensation packages and to track the latest market trends
  • Increasingly uses reward analytics, as a base for having a “fact-based” overview of internal trends, and as a means for advising and giving support to all internal stakeholders on rewarding topics

Requirements

  • Good knowledge of global rewards, IT systems, and HR processes with experience working in a similar department
  • Experience and skills in using both advanced Excel and Power BI
  • Excellent communication skills & fluency in English
  • Experience from working with SuccessFactors
  • Understanding and experience of IPE (International Positioning Evaluation)
