About this opportunity

With a growing space of use-cases, services, deployment scenarios, and diverse characteristics requirements it is important to enable a structured approach to translate business needs to a modular portfolio architecture.
As Head of the Network Architecture section in RAN Systems Management you will be responsible for securing a cross-Networks portfolio perspective bridging from technology strategy into system development.

What you will do

• Define, evolve and own the strategy for network architecture system evolution to enable Ericsson's strategic vison, in collaboration with stakeholders, lines, and programs.
• Secure strategy execution in area of responsibility in line with business priorities through your team's contribution in programs, own line activities and collaboration with others.
• Proactively manage stakeholders to pave the way for your team and enable fact-based business decisions, innovation, and effective system evolution.
• Own processes and drive improvements with aim to simplify wherever possible, manage complexity and digitalize to optimize effectiveness and efficiency, and increase use of systematic innovation and analytics for building insights and developing better products.
• Lead your team towards the future by setting clear targets, growing the individuals, and creating a culture in line with the company core values and Ericsson on the Move focus areas.

You will bring

• Experience of leadership roles involving System Engineering, Network/Product/Solution Architecture, Product/Portfolio Management, and/or Product Development.
• Analytical and result oriented with a strategic system level perspective using prioritization to meet long term goals.
• Solid technical foundation coupled with business awareness and value driven approach.
  An ability to shift perspectives and connect with people in different roles and on various organizational levels.
• Brave and empathetic leadership, providing clear direction and setting appropriate standards of behavior through strong integrity.
• Passion to drive innovation and change.
• Cross-organization networking and collaboration skills.
• Well-structured with experience from working in organizations spanning multiple sites and time zones.
