The Site Manager is to effectively manage the site-based activities of allocated contracts safely and efficiently, within budget and to schedule, consistent with Company Procedures, good practice and Statutory Legislation and to our contractual obligations.
Key Objectives:
Assist the Project Team in the management of the contract in all aspects of the following items, but not limited to:
- SHE – Safety, Health and Environment
- Budget
- Programme
- Client Expectations
- Quality
- Plant Management
- Labour Control
- On time project delivery through personnel management
Liaise with the Project Team to review and understand the Site Programme and Phasing including any site specific constraints.Ensure all labour is adequately trained for the task and liaise with the SHE team for any necessary advice orTo ensure that prior to starting work, the Principal Contractor has supplied and signed a Safe Site Certification Sheet (Ground pressure document).Ensure the Project Team approval is sought prior to changing any aspect of labour / plant / specialist packages when the project is live onProvide support to Project Team at meetings as requestedTo read and understand the Company's site, specific safety method, statement and risk assessments, and to ensure that its provisions are being effectively carriedTo ensure that all employees and Company sub-contract employees attend the Principal Contractor's SiteEnsure all site operatives receive the SeverfieldIn all activities, ensure compliance with the Company Operating Procedures, Company Quality Assurance Procedures, Statutory Safety Legislation, good practice and our contractualManage and monitor the progress of the site activities and take action to ensure progressive deadlines are met in accordance with the programme requirementsEnsure all works under Severfield control in particular - steel erecting, welding, decking, precast concrete, paint touch up etc.
