Join Norrdans as a Rehearsal Director

Now you have the opportunity to be one of our valued rehearsal directors in our rehearsal director pool.
We are looking for both those who wish to work on invoice or want to be employed.
The employment periods are five to seven months, either in spring or autumn.

Job Description

Since 2019, Norrdans has worked with a skilled pool of dance artists who serve as rehearsal directors within our operations.
The position offers an exciting mix of challenges and opportunities where you are given space to grow and develop.
Your focus will be on both developing new productions and working with our existing repertoire.
As a rehearsal director, you lead the ensemble.
You will assist visiting choreographers, coach and teach our dancers during tours.
You will also be responsible for planning and booking guest teachers and working closely with the ensemble and the artistic director.

The employer provides housing.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with extensive experience and deep expertise in contemporary dance and choreography.
You are structured, solution-oriented, and capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously.
As a communicative person with an eye for detail, you enjoy leading and developing groups.
Good administrative skills are also important.
