We are searching for a Simulation & Analysis Engineer within the area of Strength & Durability, to join the group of Cab Analysis.
Our team works in different domains with skills in; Aerodynamics, Durability, NVH and Quality Impression.
Product performance and Simulations are the major parts of our group, and we are a support function to the other teams within the Cab Engineering department such as; Exterior, Interior and Cab Body.
The Cab engineering department is responsible for developing new advanced cabs for our future trucks while also continually adapt our current products to different market demands.
We work as a global team with the different sites around the globe.

Job description:
As “Simulation & Analysis Engineer – Strength & Durability”, you work closely with the design departments and other functions to improve the Strength & Durability performance of the truck.
The main parts of the role include evaluation and proposal of technical solutions for improving the Strength & Durability performance of the truck.
Main responsibilities:
Carry out Strength & Durability analysis and evaluate technical solutions.
Provide input for improved Strength & Durability of the truck.
Improve the CAE methods within the area of Strength & Durability.

Qualifications:
MSc and/or PhD in Applied Mechanics or Physics or similar
Several years of experience within structural CAE tools and analysis
Experience within Strength & Durability
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Good knowledge in the following Strength & Durability analysis tools and pre/post processors
Ansa/Metapost
Nastran
N-code – DesignLife or similar fatigue analysis software
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge/Experience within scripting (Python, Java etc)
Knowledge/Experience of Strength & Durability testing and test methods
Knowledge/Experience from product development & automotive industry
