We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager on behalf of our client .

About the role:
In this challenging assignment, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of all engineering activities.
From defining requirements and interfaces to overseeing manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning, you will be responsible for streamlining operations and achieving all licensing, safety, and engineering documentation goals.
The Technical Process Management function will be central to this, involving the identification of weaknesses, misalignments, and barriers to effectiveness across all engineering processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate engineering processes to identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to streamline and integrate activities.
• Identify support and non-engineering processes that hinder engineering delivery work and propose solutions to simplify and streamline these processes.
• Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and rules, with a focus on criticality and safety requirements.
• Assess the technical readiness of work packages/systems to progress to the next phase of the engineering process.
• Manage configuration and change control of facilities and technical systems.
• Identify gaps, overlaps, and interfaces between technical areas and phases, ensuring clear hand-over milestones are defined.
• Establish plans and frameworks to address gaps between current standards and procedures.
• Implement a lean process management approach to enhance project deliverables and operations.
• Promte teamwork and collaboration within the project team.
  

About you:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in large, international projects, preferably within the big science industry.
• Strong background in process management, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and propose effective solutions.
• Excellent understanding of engineering standards, procedures, and rules, with a focus on safety and criticality.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and diverse international environment.
• Full proficiency in English is required, as it is the working language of the project.
