About us
Regulatory Affairs is a part of Quality.
Our job is to make sure that the development of cars and products take global regulations into account towards compliance.
We are now looking for a new team member within the global area of vehicle regulations, to support the development of cars and products.


What you will do
The Regulatory Affairs team are responsible for global regulations to support the development of our cars and services.
You will work as a Regulatory Expert, both with your Volvo Cars network and with trade organizations, authorities, and other external stakeholders to derive a comprehensive understanding of technologies and regulatory developments of concern.
The main objective of the job is a combination of identifying, monitoring, influencing, and informing about regulations within your areas.
A key aspect of the job is to cooperate with others, understand what we want to achieve and navigate towards compliance.
The position implicates a broad contact network both within- and outside of the company and provides an opportunity for personal development in an international atmosphere.

Key qualifications for this position include:
* Several years of experience within automotive regulations and/or the technical areas of Energy Efficiency, Emissions, Safety
* Deep knowledge and interest in regulation development, terminology, and landscape as well as reading and interpret regulatory texts
* Extensive skills and knowledge within your technical field
* Experience in Volvo Cars development process (meritorious)
* Master of Science or equivalent
* Proficiency in English

As a member of our team, you are a self-managed leader and a true team player.
You are analytical with a strong ability to read, understand and analyze e.g., regulatory text.
A positive attitude and willingness to support the company’s transformation agenda is key.
You have diplomatic and interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt to different situations in an effective and positive way.
You are a person with high integrity and professionalism, used to working with cultural diversity.
You are an excellent communicator with fluency in English (Swedish is an advantage).
It is expected that you will be able to travel.
