Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Verification Engineer for the Steering Gear team in Gothenburg.

Role Summary

The purpose of the Steering department is to create the best Steering system to the customer in Safety, Sustainability and Steering Feel.

The responsibility/ownership of verifying new software in all our vehicles will require high coordination/collaboration skills and very high understanding for the steering system and its impact on the rest of the car.

The Software that controls the steering gear is developed by supplier.
In our newer vehicles we develop more and more functions in house.

Area of Responsibility

The scope for this team is to own the complete testing from acceptance- to domain- testing for all our vehicles and software.
It includes writing testcases, running and evaluating them.
Both Manual and Automated test cases.
It also includes planning and distributing the work.

Knowledge / Experience

Passion for SW with several years of hands on experience in SW development and you are eager to develop and continuously improve the quality of the architecture for the steering system according to procedures.

· M.Sc.
in Controls and Mechatronics, Electronical or Computer Science Engineering or equal.

· Fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a driving license (B) and drives on a regular basis.

· More than 3 years of hands on experience in the following: Engineering documentation (Requirements); SW Quality Assurance; Project Management; Supplier Management; FMEA; System Safety; Cybersecurity

· Self-organizing and has a full knowledge and able to work independently in Product Development Processes, Systems and Tools

Competences

· M.Sc.
in Controls and Mechatronics, Electronical or Computer Science Engineering or equal.

· Fluent in English (spoken and written) and have a driving license (B) and drives on a regular basis.
