Due to our continued growth, we are now recruiting for a Diagnostic Test engineer to strengthen our team in Gothenburg.

Role Summary:

The Diagnostic Tester will ensure that our power-steering node complies with relevant OBD regulations and diagnostic fault monitoring and mitigation strategies.
You will test the diagnostic capabilities of the power-steering and help create and maintain the design verification methods to verify fault monitoring requirements.

Area of Responsibility:

· Follow Test / Verification Plan

· Understand function and system requirements.

· Write test cases and DVMs according to requirements.

· Develop automated test cases.

· Maintain the requirement to test case traceability in requirement system.

· Generate test report and create fault reports.

· Log analysis.

· Prepare component rig, domain rig or vehicle for test.

· Verify PSCM diagnostic implementation.

· Compile documentation required for regulatory compliance with OBD II requirements as needed.

· Stay up to date with ZEV OBD regulations as defined by CARB and define strategy to comply.

· Support reviewing supplier fault-handling specification for existing projects.

· Support OBD homologation for PSCM.

· Support SUMS Work.

Knowledge / Experience:

· Skilled tester with experience working with testing and diagnostics.

· Good Knowledge about diagnostic fault handling

· Knowledge of mechatronic rim nodes and possible fault modes

· UDS Protocol

· CAN Protocol

· Automation Scripts

· Writing DVMs and test cases

· Troubleshooting in vehicle

· Tools: CANOE; CANAPE; CAPL; VTEST; DiVA

Meritorious qualifications:

· Knowledge of steering

· Knowledge of Diagnostic BT requirements

· Tools: DSA; JIRA; VIDA; CarCom; CarWeaver; DLT Viewer

Competences:

· Bachelor or equivalent documented education/experience.

· EU Driving license
