We are looking for a Process Engineer who has experience in detail engineering with follow up of a centrifugal compressor vendor.

Job Description:         
Compressor System Engineer for a new feed gas compressor package inclusion in an existing onshore LNG plant.
The project is at the start of detail engineering phase

• Follow up the compressor vendor (seal gas, seal gas failure report, utilities, compressor curves, torque, vendor P&IDs, line list, valve list, interfaces etc.)
• Follow up HAZOP actions from compressor vendor HAZOP
• Follow up compressor sequences (start-up/shut-down etc.)
• Travelling to the compressor vendor site if required
• General support for the main process group

Work closely with the:

• Package engineer
• Client representative
• Other process system responsible engineers (e.g.
  flare, cooling medium, utilities)
• Other relevant disciplines

Qualifications:

• MSc with required experience
• Minimum 8 years working experience from engineering (FEED and/or detail engineering)
• Working experience with Greenfield or Brownfield projects on NCS or Norwegian onshore O&G facilities
• Detail knowledge in NCS requirements (NORSOK, Ptil/PSA)
• Detail knowledge of Equinor requirements is preferred
• Detail knowledge of compressor systems
• Experience with follow-up of a centrifugal compressor vendor
• Ability to work independently and thoroughly as well as ability to work in team
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Good communication skills
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Communicate well in English
